Waste sorting

How to sort waste correctly and what goes in each container

Learn more

Waste sorting

By sorting your waste, you help reduce the amount sent to landfill and give materials a second life. In this section, you will find out what can and cannot go in each container.

Three key rules

  • Do not put sorted waste in bags – place it loose in the container. Tied bags cannot be sorted, so they end up with household waste.
